Gotta love the Amish!

My heart sank as I read the spam that began, "By opening this e-mail, you have activated the Amish computer virus." Oh no! What had I lost? Would else could I lose? What could I do to try and stop any further damage? I read on...

"Since the Amish don't have computers, this works on the honor system. Please delete all of your files immediately. Thank you."

This was sent to me in the name, and under the guise, of friendship?? Oh well, it was a brief ha ha ha moment...

I love reading your posts. The one about putting family in second or third place was a treasure. It is good to remind us of the small things we do every day that make a difference.

As for the Amish computer virus...that was pretty cute.

perhaps I once had your email address but I can't recall so this is the only way to comment on your comment to me. I taught GD for 4 years and alto I didn't put the forbidden signs over the Primary words, my ward knew I wasn't buying into those stupid catchall words and phrases. Try it...you will really astounded at the thoughts that are thunk when they realize they don't have to have THE answer to be righteous....that their own life experiences are better than any RIGHT answers. Then tell me how it went. Lin can give you my email if I don't have it posted...can't remember that either, right now.

Watch out what you open and never any attachments that you aren't sure of....don't forget virus protection and answer my email please. Glad you and Susi Q are acquainted. You are similar in many ways...unique thinkers.

Someone out there has a warped sense of humor that I like very much!

I think an Amish computer virus is pretty funny;)

You mentioned Shel Silverstein in a previous post. I haven't heard him spoken of a long time. I first heard of him thru his songs and later laughed at his poetry.

This is interesting. Not funny. But, interesting and scary. Delete your own files??? WOW!

Thank you for your concern for our safety during the hurricane and about my mom. Thanks for caring.

Thank you for your wonderful, beautiful, kind, hopeful, and very welcome words on my blog today. You are a lovely person, and I am so glad to have found your blog--in that bloggy way (by way of another blog). I love the happy accidents that make life beautiful.
