| Ask my daughter what her favorite Easter Candy is and she'll most lilkely say, "Minature Cadbury Eggs". Of course I know that's not true. She REALLY loves the caramel eggs from See's or Mrs. Cavanaugh's. But, let's just set that technicality aside for a minute.... She and I were invited to meet the "Stott women" at Olive Garden for some tasty food and a gab fest last Friday. Ten of us gathered around a table at the eatery while we chewed and chatted our way through a couple of hours of reminiscing, sharing, and passing around the two newest members of our close knit extended family. The party spilled over to Trina's house for crepe's stuffed with napolean ice crem and covered with fresh strawberries and hot fudge. More laughter... more chatter...more warmth from one another's company. It was perfect! Almost. My favorite thing to do with the gathering of sisters, cousins, daughters and best friends is to sit on a couch somewhere for an evening and soak up their sunshine. Well, almost my favorite. The technical truth is... I prefer a looong week-end, sitting in camping chairs somewhere in the mountains, in our menfolk's beloved Southern Utah, at Bear lake... wherever and anywhere. So, if you ask me my favorite thing to do with the women who were either born or married into the Stott family, I would most like say, "Spend a Friday night eating and giggling together." But, like the Cadbury eggs sitting on the coffee table, it's technically a second favorite. |

Love your cadbury egg colors or easter egg colors. Spring is coming and Easter. New rebirth. Great that friends and family can lift us just by talking and sharing and being together. The gift and power of love!
We are lucky to be related to so many wonderful women. I love them all. It's sad we don't see each other more often.
Cadbury eggs are my favorite too, but not the miniature - I like the big ones with the yolk filling. But, to be perfectly honest, I really like Swedish fish more.
Oh I love you! What a cute post! Wasn't that so fun! I do agree though the only way it could have been better was to make it a lot longer. It went so fast and found myself longing for more. Maybe this summer?

You are such an amazing woman! I love visiting with you and getting to know you better. We really do want to come up and visit you SOON! Let us know what weekend we can come see you guys. No, no camping for me this next weekend. I will be working in San Jose, CA at a hair show. =( It will be fun and educational, but hanging out with the fam would be better. Thad still isn't sure if he will be able to make it. He's working so much right now and I'll be out of town so he'll have to bring Nala. I think that Lee said that you'll be staying inside the park and won't be able to bring her. So I'm not sure what's going to happen.
I painted my bathroom yesterday a plum frost! It's so cute. The house is coming along but we still have alot of decorating to do. I'm going to try and post some pics of it cause alot of people want to see it. Hope all is well with you guys and hopefully you'll get to see my cute hubby next weekend. He's been dying to go camping!
I agree with you about the company of Stott women- it's never quite long enough. I was so sad to miss the get together at Olive Garden. I hope we can do it again this summer.
